From June 2019 to October 2019 the Bastrop County Museum & Visitor Center held a “Bastrop County African American Special Exhibit” to showcase 13+ the Freedom Colonies in Bastrop County.   Your browser does not support the video tag.

The BCAACC held its first Open House during the Christmas season at the Kerr Community Center. There was a Buffalo Soldiers reenactment. Event was free to the public and also a fundraiser.         Your browser does not support the video tag.

A Recognition and Awards program was held at the Kerr Community Center to honor philanthropist and Board member and one of the BCAACC’s founders—Mr. David Collins. Also honored was Summus Industries’ CEO Rodney Craig.
